The song later went to Rihanna before Beyonce got wind of the track and snapped up the rights to it. "Pretty Hurts" by Beyonce: Queen Bey's latest single could have been a Katy Perry song. The song went on to top the Billboard Hot 100. "Diamonds" by Rihanna: In an interview with the New York Times, Sia (whose full name is Sia Furler) revealed that she wrote "Diamonds" in just 14 minutes.
